PHOENIX (April 3, 2024) – The 2024 State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships roster is finalized, Intersport announced today. The 35th annual event, which will showcase the dunking and long-range shooting talents of the country’s premier college basketball players, will air live on ESPN at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday from Global Credit Union Arena on the campus of Grand Canyon University.

The event returns to the GCU campus for the first time since 2017 when a capacity crowd helped tip off championship weekend. Tickets for this year’s event, which start at $15, are on sale now and can be purchased by visiting www.collegeslam.com.

The night features the King’s Hawaiian Slam Dunk Championship, the Hanes Originals Soft Touch Men’s 3-Point Championship, the Hanes Originals Soft Touch Women’s 3-Point Shooting Championship and the Dave’s Hot Chicken Hot Shot Challenge. The winners of the Hanes Originals Soft Touch Men’s and Women’s 3-Point Championships will then compete in the Skechers Battle of the Champions.

This year’s roster features a collection of star players from blue blood programs and tournament darlings, all of whom boast college careers worthy of celebration.

Jermaine Hall Jr. of California (PA) earned a spot in the King’s Hawaiian Slam Dunk Championship by winning the State Farm Dark Horse Dunker competition, a digital media fan-voting contest last week.

Since the event’s inception, several of the top players in college basketball have competed in the State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships before moving on to the professional ranks, including Gary Payton, Steve Nash, Jason Terry, Kyle Korver, Bobby Hurley, Michael Finley, Allan Houston, Denzel Valentine, Cappie Pondexter, Katie Gearlds, Kristi Toliver, Odyssey Sims, Tiffany Hayes, Tiffany Mitchell, Ariel Atkins and Rhyne Howard.
