Bohannon, Spray, Moore Take Home Titles

NEW ORLEANS (March 31, 2022) – Iowa’s Jordan Bohannon, Florida Gulf Coast’s Kendall Spray and Houston’s Taze Moore were the big individual winners at the 2022 State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships on Thursday night at Xavier University of Louisiana’s Convocation Center. The 33rd annual event featured the nation’s top college basketball players showcasing their high-flying and sharp-shooting skills for an ESPN national television audience.

The evening started with Lynn’s Branden Ellis, Virginia Tech’s Aisha Sheppard and Illinois’ Alfonso Plummer teaming to win the Applebee’s Team Shootout. Bohannon followed up by taking home the TaxAct Men’s 3-Point Championship, while Spray won the Rocket Mortgage Women’s 3-Point Championship. Bohannon then defeated Spray in the State Farm Battle of the Champions to claim his second event victory of the night. To cap off the evening, Moore delivered three consecutive perfect dunks, two in the semifinals and his lone final dunk attempt to win the Great Clips Slam Dunk Championship.
