CHICAGO (March 27, 2019) – Intersport today announced that current Minnesota Timberwolves Derrick Rose, Taj Gibson and Robert Covington, and current Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook will judge the Great Clips Slam Dunk Championship at the 2019 State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships at Target Center in downtown Minneapolis.

In addition, two mystery judges will represent the fans’ vote on social media as the “Great Clips 5th Judge.” After each dunk, fans can vote by tweeting #CollegeSlam with the dunker’s last name and a numerical score between 1-10 (e.g. #CollegeSlam Smith 10).

The 31st annual State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships, which will showcase the dunking and long-range shooting talents of 24 of the country’s premier college basketball players, will air live from Target Center in Minneapolis on Thursday, April 4 at 8 p.m. CT live on ESPN.

The night features the Great Clips Slam Dunk Championship, the Men’s and Women’s 3-Point Shooting Championships and the Applebee’s Team Shootout. The winners of the Men’s and Women’s 3-Point Championships will then compete in the Reese’s Puffs Battle of the Champions. A complete roster of event participants will be released next week.

Over the last 30 years, several of the top players in college basketball have competed in the College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships including: Gary Payton, Steve Nash, Jason Terry, Kyle Korver, Bobby Hurley, Michael Finley, Allan Houston, Wesley Matthews, Yogi Ferrell, Cappie Pondexter, Katie Gearlds, Kristi Toliver, Tiffany Hayes and Ariel Atkins.

Tickets for the State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships will go on sale beginning at 10 a.m. CT on Wednesday, Feb. 20.
